La Fierté de Marre-Bleue OSA is situated in the locality of Marre-Bleue in the jurisdiction of Savanette, in the central department. It is on top of a mountain making it difficult to reach. This village has only one school and today, they have 280 students.
The support program is distinguished by a personalized approach that meets the specific needs of students, strengthening their academic skills and confidence. With qualified support staff, regular monitoring, and a positive impact on academic results, it promotes greater success. In addition, it values community engagement and remains flexible to adapt to different contexts. There are 13 accompaniers at La Fierté de Marre-Bleue school for the after school program.

Additionally, the school is supported by a team of nine dedicated accompaniers.

The village of Lhomond is situated in the Nippes region, near Miragoâne. We collaborate with one school in this region for our One School Approach, which adopts the whole school. The school has 160 students. Some of the highlights of the program include providing essential school materials, offering food and access to education. There are seven accompaniers in this school.
"On behalf of the parents, students, teachers and accompaniers of Lumen Vitae, I want to talk about the importance of Lumen Vitae in the area. This is becoming a pillar of education in our community. On a spiritual level, the mentors help the children get to know God better. On an educational level, mentors help children to read, write, and respect others. Mentors also help children learn about virtues. The students are provided daily meals and LV covers the tuition fees and helps the parents. The program is also a development tool for the area."

The town of Croix des Bouquet is situated in the West department. There are 27 schools connected with the Lumen Vitae program. There are also other schools in the North (college Jean XXIII, Fatima Domus, Sacré Coeur) and in the center (Elkana institution).
The Child Support program helps the children in the region to go to school by taking care of their school payments and school materials. Also, the After school program assists the children in lessons and homework. There are seven accompaniers in this region.
"I started my experience at Lumen Vitae in 2015 where I was a beneficiary. Later, I joined the Learning Center to learn English and computers, and during the year 2021, I began to live this great experience as a Mentor, where I accompanied a group of children, gave them advice, encouraging them, and shared with them about my experience in Lumen Vitae. Thanks to the support of Lumen Vitae, the illiteracy rate is reduced and the children benefit from a good education."

Apart from the One School Approach, we also partner with 39 schools in the Nippes region, which has nine accompaniers. Parents find that this program helps their children academically and holistically. The program gives the community a sense of solidarity where each one helps each other. It can transform students' lives, help parents, and create a more stable society and development.
"This is my third year in the program, and I am very happy and thankful toward the staff and the school principal for this opportunity. Thanks to this program, my parents were able to send my siblings to school too. The meeting with accompanier's during the after-school activities helped me to grow into a more mature person who takes life and school related activities more seriously."
